#SundayFishSketch is the Southern Redbelly Dace, which is endangered in Michigan. Went a little rogue and tried some new brushes this time! #SciArt
Digital drawing of a southern redbelly dace. As the name suggests, it has a deep red belly and two lateral black/dark brown stripes against a brown and gold base body color.

Explored my new study area this past week! The Shark River, so intricately woven into the fabric that makes the Everglades truly the iconic River of Grass. So grateful for the opportunity to work in my backyard and contribute towards efforts to restore this extraordinary ecosystem 💚🐊🐠!!! #Everglades
