Georges Méliès is all "Look, ma! No strings!" in THE MERMAID. Méliès starred in most of his own films and was one of the first screen performers to really play to the audience, breaking the fourth wall and addressing them directly.

The Type Archive in London is the greatest collection of type history that is no more. An incredible celebration of this unique typographical institution in book form is being crowdfunded: a book by Richard Ardagh. vol.co/collections/... It survived its founder, Sue Shaw, by just a few years.
