Today in #yearOfPudding (aka, pudding as coing mechanism) number 7ish Berry vanilla pudding My place smells delicious. The pudding is tasty. And what I’ve learned is that if you use enough berries, it thickens significantly faster than usual.

#yearOfPudding number 6? Chocolate berry pudding. I added 3/4 cup of mixed freeze dried berries (mostly strawberries) into a batch of chocolate pudding and hit it with an immersion blender before cooking it. Result: good! Not tasting the berry much hot but as it cools I’m getting more of it. >>

So the ube pudding got put off a few days for reasons. It is tasty! I like the purple sweet potato pudding better, and I like its color better too. BUT. I have three bowls of purple pudding in my fridge now that are quite tasty. #YearOfPudding number five Maybe?

That said I have my very muppet 9/11 story. I worked way downtown at the time, less than a mile of the WTC. I was distracted, running late for work and got out of the train only to look up into the sky and see fire pouring out of the top of one of the towers. Like a large range top gas oven. >>
