On went the baselayers, the top, the sweater, the sneakers and the jacket. I was about to walk out of the changing room when I looked down and realized that my jeans were still on the chair. The long Johns fooled me into thinking that I was already wearing pants and just skipped right past them.

Today in #yearOfPudding (aka, pudding as coing mechanism) number 7ish Berry vanilla pudding My place smells delicious. The pudding is tasty. And what I’ve learned is that if you use enough berries, it thickens significantly faster than usual.

If I did it again, (and I might, but yknow ProbablyADHD happens) , I’d probably bump up the fruit amount to a full cup and or reduce the cocoa by a tbsp.

Oh wait,addendum to step 2: don’t add the butter until everything else is blended. That’s unnecessary.

1. Combine everything dry. Whisk. 2. Add wet ingredients, hit with immersion blender. 3. Nuke 3 min. Stir. Repeat for 1 min at a tim until thickens, total probaly 5-6 min. KEEP A CLOSE EYE ON IT in he last minue because as it thickens it WILL threaten to overflow. Makes about 4 custard cups.

#yearOfPudding number 6? Chocolate berry pudding. I added 3/4 cup of mixed freeze dried berries (mostly strawberries) into a batch of chocolate pudding and hit it with an immersion blender before cooking it. Result: good! Not tasting the berry much hot but as it cools I’m getting more of it. >>
