The queue along Botley Road extends into Oxford city centre through Frideswide Square, blocking up major bus corridors in the city. This is now a regular occurence due to the recently implemented Traffic Filters.

I’m getting really sick of people who are so invested in the Oxford traffic filters working gaslighting me by telling me that the chaos that has been experienced daily on Botley Road was the same before the road was closed. I lived there then too, it was never this bad unless there were roadworks.

It's mind numbing that in all the time the road's been closed no one seems to have got to grips with the traffic modelling at all. I have no faith that it will ever work. They might as well have permanently blocked the road, rebuilt the railway track across it and saved the money on the new bridge 🙄
