This vibrant landscape is an acrylic painting titled "Through The Walls" by the contemporary Russian impressionist artist Anastasia Trusova.

Created in 2020 using acrylic paints on linen, the artwork features her signature "textured graphic impressionism" style. The piece explores a highly saturated, multi-layered sunset where dramatic light rays pierce through heavy dark clouds over a shimmering sea surface.

Ink and acrylic on canvas
Lavenham Contemporary, Suffolk
In The Going Down Of The Sun Paul Evans transforms the English landscape into something elemental and surreal. A cottage stands quietly in the distance, its lights lit against a field bristling with dry stalks and seedheads. Above it all hovers under a sun suspended in a sky that seems to hum with unnatural heat. The painting's tension-between tranquility and fervor, night and fire-amplifies Evans's signature interest in atmospheric contradiction.

Working in ink and acrylic, Evans captures not the literal, but the remembered and intuited countryside:
East Anglia in late season, sensed rather than seen. The Going Down Of The Sun both astronomical anomaly and symbolic quietus, becomes a point of psychic stillness in a field charged with latent movement.

The image is of a four panel comic.
The title reads, "Suddenly Finding A New Obsession".
In the first panel we see Sarah, the protagonist, in front of her computer. She has a bored expression on her face.
In the second panel we zoom in on her face. She looks suddenly alert.
In the third panel we zoom in even closer on her face. Her eyes and mouth are wide open in intrigue.
In the fourth panel we zoom out and see Sarah in front of her computer again, but this time she is dressed in a frog costume, surrounded by frog toys, and has an "I heart frogs" poster behind her.

I need to make a statement about this: Yes, I was extremely sexual and pushy and needy a few years ago. Until relatively recently, I genuinely believed sex was this end-all be all. I ended up seriously hurting people and losing a lot of my friends because of my actions.

"i find this unacceptable, it therefore should not exist/you have to stop doing it or else" is the posturing of a tyrant, and the legacy social violence to which all white people are heritors. you MUST reckon with this fact, and accept that true equity requires individual social responsibility.
