there is no such thing as "age verification." All "age verification" is actually "identity verification." You can coat it in glitter and "privacy-preserving" wrapping paper. But in the end, mandating age verification means mandating surveillance be built into software and hardware. Period.

Good. I remember colleagues would report sexual assault by pilots and the employer responded by just changing the flight attendant’s schedule so they wouldn’t encounter him as much. He would always keep flying. Or the time they cut our drinking curfew and layover times. Anything but accountability.

I have had this account for nigh 20 years, same as my email, and I don’t even remember the last time I posted a video to it—whatever I posted was CERTAINLY not sexual. But, I’m a sex worker, so my existence goes against community standards.
