This guy's a vet and a lawyer who threw a sandwich and offered to turn himself in, so they sent a paramilitary platoon with a camera crew. They have FBI and U.S. Marshal badges; apparently those agencies do no real work beyond camera stunts, harassing minorities, and filling concentration camps.

This guy had served less than 2 years of a 30 year sentence for murdering three people. The State Department refuses to say whether he will now be set free. We are condemning non-criminal immigrants to gulags, and then trading them for violent criminals who are coming back to the US.

The deaths were violent, according to an extradition request by the Spanish government that was included in the Venezuelan records. One of the women, Elisa Consuegra, was killed with a large knife or machete. The second woman, Maritza Osorio, and the man, were likely killed with an iron bar. Afterward, Mr. Hanid Ortiz lit the office on fire in an attempt to cover up his crime, then fled to Germany and eventually to Venezuela.

This is the primary reason for the USAID cuts. Trump / Musk / Miller know the budgetary cost is minimal and they don't care about budget deficits anyway. They chose this path precisely because it's the quickest and easiest way to kill millions of nonwhite people and impoverish millions more.
