It’s not, but they’re trying. Unfortunately a single character miniature costs more than a Master Grade Gundam model kit so it’s never gonna be big

Would kill for them it just sell a box of back banners lol. I’ve looked at every website selling 3D prints and nobody seems to sell them, I feel like I’m the only person in the world who likes them!

Warhipster has been doing some “normal” painting with them on his streams; it’s funny that he is thinning them with water, but someone posted on Reddit that when they did the Warhammer store paint demo with them, the staff said you aren’t supposed to use water 🤔 (hopefully just a misunderstanding?)

@sonicsledgehammer.bsky.social hi, I was wondering if you were planning anything with warhammer tone pro? I’m running low on marine juice so wondering if new shading medium would be an improvement over lahmian, havent seen comparisons yet. Public demo of the paint is delayed to October here in Japan

Wanted to try @mediocrehobbies.bsky.social rusty metal technique on a bigger guy so grabbed a Nob, I love it so much! Makes painting #Orks a breeze! Now I want to use it for Chaos Knights… and Iron Warriors too… (maybe even Deathguard??) #warhammer #nerdlings #paintslam26 youtu.be/9NiszkCo-hg

Based on prize values, a champ calculated new #warhammer tone pro colours will be around £4.13 (vs £3.70 base/layer, £4.75 contrast/shade). I can’t access most western brands in Japan so if these paints really cover well I’ll pick a handful up for sure #minipainting www.reddit.com/r/Warhammer4...

I used @mediocrehobbies.bsky.social rust effect on the Orks and I’m absolutely in love with it, adds so much character. Going to (eventually) paint my 40K Chaos Knights and LI Traitor titans with it to distinguish them from the normal silver drybrush of loyalists. Tutorial↓ bsky.app/profile/medi...

Got distracted from painting yet again but finally working through my Armageddon box, first time painting #Orks since 2nd edition, took a while since I was trying out lots of new things but happy with my meagre results so far 😌 #warhammercommunity #paintslam26 #minipainting #nerdlings #warhammer

Persevered through the first typhoon of the year to buy #warhammer40k combat patrol for the dark gods 😌 2748 yen vs 9300 yen retail for a five man Chaos Terminator squad. Now do I paint them as a second Red Corsairs squad or do I finally give in to painting a small Iron Warriors Warband…

And that’s just female custodes, I’m sure they’re also equally as upset about the Hippogriff AFV and Knight Destrier suddenly having always existed out of nowhere…. Right…..? 🙄

WTF is up with Games Workshop recently?? The last two boxes I’ve gotten, the transfer sheet is ON TOP of the protective sheet! My custodes transfers were scratched & damaged, got a replacement sheet through my FLGS. Now my Knights box came with the same problem! Billion dollar company… #warhammer40k

A very different kind of Citadel Miniatures space ship: the USS Grissom. The vessel was just one of several starships that were released by Citadel in the mid-80s. The sculpts, and the Star Trek Roleplaying game they were designed for, were licenced from FASA for casting & release in the UK.

3 years after backing “The damned” on kickstarter, they finally arrived… is it normal for Wargames Atlantic to ship sprues naked in a box? Thankfully only one piece seems to have broken off and fallen to the bottom of the box… honestly I don’t even like the designs anymore & totally regret it lol 😭

Mr Waffle @mrwaffle.bsky.social · 31/03/2026

Not surprised the king of the knight designs knocked it out of the park with another one! I love that it has vibes from both the Armigers and Questoris, really feels like it fits in the middle

I wanted free time in February to paint but life got in the way, glad I could get back to it with my first handful of Warhammer 40K Red Corsairs (Legionaries kit) and Thousand Sons Scarab Occult Terminators. I think hopping between different kits & schemes helps keep my attention longer #Paintslam26

Warhammer 40,000 Chaos Space Marines painted as Red Corsairs. (Lots more in the pile to go, not a proper squad yet)

Yep, we are being locked into closed ecosystems with no freedom of movement between platforms. RIP ownership of books you paid for 😮‍💨 www.warhammer.com/en-GB/explor...

Can I upload an ebook I've bought to the ereader I already have? (Kindle, Kobo, Apple iPad etc.)

No but the great thing about the new Black Library App is that it provides everything you need for exploring, reading and listening, all within the App. You can still purchase Black Library eBooks and Audiobooks through alternative vendors to use with your preferred eReader.

130

Mr Waffle @mrwaffle.bsky.social · 18/02/2026

We’ve already seen services die in the past, eg you can’t buy Xbox 360 games on the console anymore, so some games are gone forever. And apps constantly get worse, eg Netflix and Amazon Prime forcing ads into previously ad-less subscriptions. There’s a million ways this can go bad for the customer..

100

Mr Waffle @mrwaffle.bsky.social · 18/02/2026

Very worried about new Warhammer book app. Afaik the current site is the only source of epub books, so you can buy it to use on iPhone, kindle etc. Now you’ll be forced into closed ecosystems (app only etc) so have to trust the website will always work. www.warhammer-community.com/en-gb/articl...

warhammer-community.com

A new Black Library app is on the way – here’s what you need to know

Collect all your eBooks and audiobooks in one place.

They’re both great but I think I like the darker version better, great work!

020

Mr Waffle @mrwaffle.bsky.social · 18/02/2026

And it sounds like this is going to force people to lock themselves into closed ecosystems, eg the kindle owners can only give their money to Amazon now. So market competition will be dead. I hope it doesn’t just drive people to piracy like the splitting up of streaming services has done.

000

Mr Waffle @mrwaffle.bsky.social · 18/02/2026

Afaik the BL website is the only place to legally get epub books, which scares me since all it will take is for this app to break or the website to shut down and we will lose access to all our purchased books. We’ve already seen it happen in video games (eg Xbox 360 games are no longer available)

Mr Waffle @mrwaffle.bsky.social · 12/02/2026

I think you’re confused, he explicitly quit Warhammer in 2024?!? (🤣) how has he not choked to death an all that pathetic bile and rage?

Blood Angels recommended reading order

1. Dante
2. Mephiston: Blood of Sanguinius
3. Devastation of Baal
4. Astorath: Angel of Mercy
5. Mephiston: Revenant Crusade
6. Darkness in the Blood
