My phone just alerted me that the voice of a spam call was matched known AI phishing scams. On the one hand, i'm glad i was able to avoid it. On the other, its a little concerning to know they're analyzing my phone calls in real time...

I got an Onyx boox and id recommend it. They're basically an eink android tablet. you can access the Google store so you can have all access to all the different reading apps. Even hoopla.

Heartbroken to hear that the great Italian (micro)historian Carlo Ginzburg died a few days ago in Bologna. He was one of the most masterful storytellers and historians I have ever read.
