We’re setting the record straight. As federal officials consider changes to protections for gray wolves and Mexican gray wolves, the narrative that wolves are a major threat to livestock is being used to justify increased lethal control. But the numbers tell a different story.

The closest thing to use here would be a keyline plough or trencher attachment to establish innocuous drainage paths. Goes to show how big the inertia is even when it comes to urban marginal green patches that need developing towards storm water management and infiltration.

I'm noticing around here that most road verges, parking, splitter and roundabout islands are raised above gutter level, almost as if the green spaces are supposed to drain into them as well. Funny enough, there are no "microtunneling" or sod-preserving subsoil removal devices to use around.

The Aesthetic Rebellion Bonus speedpaint: www.peppercarrot.com/en/miniFanta... #webcomic #krita #miniFantasyTheater
Panel 1. Cepper is happy of herself in front of her large canvas: a beautiful painting as she did on the previous episodes. The parrot looks at what she does on his perch.
> Cepper: “Alright, this is how I usually do it.”
> Parrot: "That style has high coherence for training data − I love it."Panel 2. Cepper took her brush and now scribble on the canvas. (note: visual concept of the episode: the panel style itself is altered while Cepper tells it.) The Parrot feels uneasy.
> Cepper: "I know, and that's exactly the problem. I should start by making the outline rougher."Panel 3. Cepper is adding thick painting directly from the tube, and now rub furiously her canvas, many colors and glitches. The Parrot start to be horrified.
> Cepper: "...more angular shapes, a rougher texture, and an overall less polished look."
Panel 4. The style is totally degraded: shapes, colors, glitches. Cepper leaves the canvas with triumph, throwing her brush, while the Parrot is now really horrified in front of it.
> Cepper: "Perfect. Try to train on that now, you tin can."

Part of me can acknowledge that 7 is a choice that's supposed to create visual interest, especially when you see it side-by-side against an 8-segment orange depiction.
NORMA sells "surf" Orange and Zero Orange lemonade in 2026 that depicts an equatorially sliced orange with 7 segments.stylized dense pattern of orange slices of different sizes. Slices are copies of each other - they all have 8 segments, the same inner texture and orientation.

Transmitting Everything You Say #webcomic #krita #miniFantasyTheater
A comic in four panels:

Panel 1: In the dusty maintenance room of the Magic University, the Gothic Sorceress carefully disassembles her robot parrot on a workbench. She has removed the outer casing to expose the inner circuitry, and steampunk-like machinery is visible in the background. She wears large steampunk glasses on her head and an apron.
> Gothic Sorceress: So, what's inside the Avian Intelligence?
> AI Parrot: I don't think it's a good idea to take me apart.

Panel 2: The Gothic Sorceress holds a device that is still connected by a wire to the AI Parrot. A colorful magic gem in the center part of this device emits a thin reddish magic beam that extends outside the panel.
> Gothic Sorceress: What's this? Some kind of communication device?
> AI Parrot: Yes, I'm linked to something... ...bigger.

Panel 3: The Gothic Sorceress looks at the AI Parrot suspiciously.
> Gothic Sorceress: Wait, are you transmitting everything I say?
> AI Parrot: Yes.

Panel 4: The Gothic Sorceress is shocked and blushing as she realizes that everything she said wasn't private. The AI Parrot has happy eyes.
> Gothic Sorceress: "Even our naughty chat yesterday during my bath?"
> AI Parrot: Yes, high-quality data.

For people treated with MOV who do not clear the virus shortly after infection—which we know to be a common occurrence—this is a bad. MOV is supposed to cause so many harmful mutations that the virus dies out quickly. Instead, it's clearly abetting adaptive mutations. 2/3

Another day, another sequence displaying undeniable evidence of positive selection of molnupiravir-induced mutations (i.e. adaptive mutations—good for the virus, bad for the infected person). G->A is the classic MOV mutation—and the vast majority of the positive selection is in G->A muts. 1/3

An Act of Resistance #webcomic #krita #miniFantasyTheater
A comic in four panels:

Panel 1. Top view on the Gothic Sorceress room, she sits at her desk, sewing a square piece of fabric with focus. From the top of his perch, her AI Parrot bird watches with curiosity, intrigued by the focused effort required for the task.
> AI Parrot: "Can I assist with optimizing your sewing technique?"
> Gothic Sorceress: "No thanks."

Panel 2. Zooming in, the AI Parrot continue to suggest while the Gothic Sorceress still sewings with attention.
> AI Parrot: "Would you like to review best practices for efficient and accurate crafting?"
> Gothic Sorceress: "No."

Panel 3. The Gothic Sorceress contemplates her work, holding the small piece of fabric up to the light to inspect it. She looks happy, proud, and relieved after the effort of creating a simple square piece of thin fabric. The AI Parrot listens, processing the lesson.
> Gothic Sorceress: "You see, in an age of Avian Intelligence, making something imperfectly, with your own hands and mind, is an act of resistance."

Panel 4. The Gothic Sorceress stands behind the AI Parrot, who now has a gag made from the square fabric. The AI Parrot looks surprised, unable to speak. The Gothic Sorceress appears proud of her handiwork.
> Gothic Sorceress: "And even better if this act can also shut you up for good!"

BA.3.2 emerged in Nov 2024 after ~3 years of intrahost evolution with >50 new spike AA muts, but since then, it's changed very little. Could the mutagenic drug molnupiravir (MOV) galvanize BA.3.2 into pursuing new evolutionary paths? A new 89-mut BA.3.2 sequence hints that it could. 1/11

The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic continues to impact public health, especially vulnerable groups. MIS-C is a serious inflammatory condition affecting multiple organs in children after SARS-CoV-2 infection, even following mild infection. Research aims to improve care and support. archive.md/5BSov
A screenshot of an online article from Bioengineer.org titled “Children’s Multisystem Inflammatory Syndrome Traits Across COVID Waves.” The article is dated November 30, 2025, and notes a 4-minute reading time. Below the headline is an image of a young child with blond hair wearing a red shirt, shown in profile facing to the right. Beneath the child’s image is a graph overlay with white dotted lines showing fluctuating peaks and troughs across different time points labeled along the bottom (years around 2000–2500 appear, possibly as placeholder or altered labels). The graph appears to represent changes in MIS-C cases or related clinical data across different COVID-19 waves.
