I am an unwoman, in that I am perceived near universally as a "failed woman" and a "woman without use", both of which, in my case and many others, come down to my refusal to carry pregnancies. PSA with a side of TMI incoming... If you find cervical smears painful ask if a Dr in your surgery can do it. They can check the position of your cervix before inserting the equipment. Nurses aren't allowed to so need to move the equipment which adds to the pain.

Mamdani's "the allegations are genuinely disturbing" statement made me lost 75% of my respect and optimism for him. That phrase is used to convey that the reporter is lying and genuinely disturbed, and my entire family is lawyers working in politics so this is explicitly what that statement is for.

Over 1,200 sexual assault cases in a six year period at Cornell. The current case involves 7 men gang raping and drugging a student and being assigned essays as punishment. In 6 years, only 7 students have been expelled or dismissed. That’s less than 0.006%. Cornell sides with rapists.
