I don’t understand what visible from space means anymore. Does it mean visible to the naked eye? From what distance from earth? Does satellite imagery count? My car is technically visible from space on satellite maps but it’s so small that really does not mean anything

Is it bad that 1.5 years into my emergency medicine residency I am fundamentally unhappy at work. I have to force myself to pick up the next patient. I find my empathy increasingly gone. I routinely go entire shifts without eating, drinking or using the restroom to try to see more patients.

For the record, I think it’s a tragedy that Pretti and Good lost their lives. I think full investigations should be done and as far as I can tell, I don’t think there was any cause for the Pretti shooting. It looked like a series of terrible things in too short of a time with too much noise and not enough communication. But it also looked like officers were assaulting people without cause.

I also think that out of the tens of thousands of arrests, we would be hearing about all the ones that have gone wrong and it’s been these two as the major ones. It also happened where there are active sanctuary cities not anywhere else. It’s like causing the problem only to be appalled by the consequence you created. But people act like these two instances are all of ICE. Believe me, we’d hear about more

And comparing deporting people to go back to their home countries (especially when one side actively hates the US, shouldn’t you be encouraging this?), to Nazi Germany is insane. There is a reason for these being the main controversies because in the vast majority of instances, no one is dying.

On top of all of this, the census is based on populations, including illegal immigrants. That’s where we get the number of representatives in each state. The left is clearly very happy to allow more representatives in their states based on illegal immigration. This is how they steal the country.
