The San Jose Earthquakes have hired former Thorns president Gavin Wilkinson. He was fired in 2022 after the Yates Report found failures in his handling of abuse involving former Thorns coach Paul Riley. Bay FC—who shares facilities with the Earthquakes—issued a statement denouncing the hiring.
