Bertholdia. One of my favorite moths. Every single one in the genus is a stunner. Those translucent bits! 🌿😜
A moth on a leaf. The wings are mostly brown with a big area lacking scales so it is translucent and the leaf shows through. The thorax has a red crest. There are four yellow spots along the thorax and black and yellow dashed lines along the posterior edge of the forewings.
