my best friend sent me this yesterday while we were talking and it hit me hard that the masc people in our lives just have no idea how prevalent it is. like he is just realising this now in 2025. i love him and i’m glad he’s realising it but how do men not get just how devastatingly common it is

Bro, another friend of mine just revealed that she was abused too and my heart breaks for the incredible women in my life that this appears to be so common to happen to 😤 Like I don’t know how to process how standard this story is.

This is what I got done on my back piece yesterday. It’s a floral arrangement of the flowers mentioned in the poem The Wasteland by T.S. Eliot, which was the poem I read at 13 that got me into poetry. Poetry was my first love, I had a poetry tumblr with 160k followers, and I’m a published poet!
