Silly correction at Cell Death & Disease. Authors elected to correct just one of these images after accepting that there was an overlapping area, but disputed the other obviously cloned parts. Who accepted the correction at Springer Nature? Sometimes it feels like there are no adults in the loop.

We published a new paper in the #CanadianJournalOfCardiology doi.org/10.1016/j.cj... We show that 57 of 201 included articles (28.4%) contain image-related or data-related issues. All these papers investigated microvascular injury after acute myocardial infarction in mouse, rat and pig models.

Let us remember that Pau Loke Show reviewed more than 800 (!!!) papers in 2021 and 2023. On top of this he edited more than 1000 papers. Knowing he is a corrupt editor, reviewer & #papermill #fraud; the extent of this fraud is massive! Thousands of papers are affected! Consequences so far limited.

To correct the literature, the University of Minnesota recommended that the publication be retracted.
