I'm exhausted. I'm in constant pain. I've been rationing the 12 toradol pills they reluctantly called in for me. My apartment is a wreck, I'm stressed as hell and bored out of my mind, just sitting here feeling like I've got a live wire burning and shocking my uterus. And no one cares.

That's week 3 after the ultrasound, to give the doctor time to go over results. This puts the grand total of weeks since the instigating ER visit to 6 weeks. My pain levels have been at 6+ this *entire time.* No, no exceptions are made. I'm not immediately dying, therefore I am fine.

Exactly one month ago, I was in the ER. Three weeks after that, I had navigated through my PCP and scheduling to get in with a gynecologist, half an hour away. They did my ultrasound very quickly. They definitely found something. And then they told me I can't even ask about results til week 3.

Before and after photos of the novelty fish tank we purchased with a display fish inside. I wasn't sold on the tank at first but the alternative of leaving the poor thing in the curio shop was too much for me. So. Meet Sapphire.

I think the animals missed me while I was visiting my cousin this past weekend. Brooklyn came up to be little spoon first, then Wobbles took up station on my leg, and when I was stuck Jelly Bean jumped onto the back of the couch and skirted to the side, off of which she leapt into my arms.

No surgery today. He started showing neurological symptoms when put under, so they have to check his spine. If it's just a pinched nerve he'll be rescheduled. But it's possible the cancer metastasized up his spine. If that's the case, palliative care. We'll know more in a week or two.
