You will never find an IndyCar driver that I don't think should skip Gateway to run Le Mans. Alex Palou? He can win the title without those 35 points. Colton Herta? He's better on road courses anyway. Scott McLaughlin? He deserves a shot! Sting Ray Robb? Sure why not maybe he's a silver in WEC.

finally a cogent explanation for why motorsport is in fact the one true sport!!! it's just the car this the driver doesn't make a difference that, shut up!!! they don't PRACTICE and that's why it's Ultimate Sports. F1 wisely introduced sprint weekends to bring it closer to this platonic ideal!!!

My view of the Michkov scratches is a bit complex. Would I scratch him? Of course not. So in that sense, I "disagree" w/it. But I also wouldn't coach a team the way Torts does. In terms of HIS coaching methods, I get it. He thinks these tactics work, & he wants to affect change in Michkov's game.
