The “welfare reform bill” is out and let’s be clear: this is not reform - it is devastating cuts. Disabled people will be made poorer, sicker, and more isolated as a result. That it is a Labour government causing this misery will be a mark of shame on the party for years to come.

Learning about myalgic encephalomyelitis really changed me. The full depth of suffering associated with this horrific illness is right out in the open for anyone to read about and/or to develop themselves, and our society seems to have decided to address the problem solely by stigmatising patients

I was saying as much to someone yesterday. Keep on keeping on if only to spite the fuckers that see us as worthless. Fuck those pricks!

I’ve realised I don’t like bluesky being completely public. I like my profiles private thank you very much. So my way around it is to nip in every so often and check out how you all are, then deactivate my account until the next time I check back in. Not ideal but it’ll have to do.
