been very busy being upside down and running around at work but i’ve also been knitting away in my spare time!!! finished this guy and his jumper this weekend 🥹 he was going to be a gift but how could i be parted from him… my son…

saw this bizarre combo while in london for the first time (well. first time not doing no-exploring-time-circus-business) and could only think of other london.

first project of the year finished!! some lovely cosy twined handwarmers to be sent to far and distant england. BABY’s FIRST COLOURWORK!!!! these were a mild ballache but ultimately a good bitta fun. having a row counter REALLY helped

yesterday, exactly two months after i got @stellartim.bsky.social and @benrlmeredith.bsky.social to draw some spirals for me, i got them tatted!!!! joined with a gorgeous pictish crescent/semi intentional symbol of artemis. thank you both for drawing such lovely spirals - they look fucking awesome

recent adventures in knitting gloves. one very tasteful pair for a friend and a pair that transform me into some sort of muppet for me >:)

a large stone friend watching the badgers play #art #illustration

successfully followed my first proper knitting pattern and my lovely slippers survived the wash!!! trying to get a cute picture of slippers is surprisingly hard ! a before felting picture included because i did greatly enjoy these huge fuckin things

got a bit stressed today so i did some ink washes and then got funky with it

three drawings on different pieces of paper. the first is a small rectangle with a green background onto which celtic spiral motifs have been drawn in a blue ink. the second is a page with a green wash on which darker ink has been drawn in a rectangle, but leaving a celtic labyrinth in the middle. the last is a page washed in greens and purples on which a flower, some leaves and a shooting bud are drawn, all with their roots showing

two thin rectangular drawings. the first is on a sheet with a light green wash, it has a stylised swan drawn on it, boxed in awkwardly by the confines of the page. the second is is a page washed in blue that has a negative space bird flying upward towards two stars.

got my first large gauge piercing a week ago. have been feeling like i will receive extraterrestrial communication since.

five (!!!) years ago i did my first ‘draw rqg characters in my clothes’ so in obviously i needed a 2025 iteration! featuring my finest clown clothes #RQGaming

did a new A4 lino print this week to prep for markets and spent the entire time thinking ‘WHY HAVE I DONE THIS TO MYSELF!!!!!’ so i reprinted my lovely little hares and harts to cheer myself up and it mildly restored my resolve thsnk goodness! pls enjoy this high contrast goodness

i’m doing a short art course and it’s given me a new lease for life - here’s some exploratory bits i’ve been working on and hopefully i will have four big shiny illustrations at some point in the near future

been up to some woodburning art recently ✨

a wood burnt log slice that has a small nub where a branch would come out of the bark. it depicts a mother and baby humpback whale, with the baby coming down along the nub towards the mother’s head.
