.I was watching a video about famous people who have lost their lives to AIDS or related causes. The sheer amount of hateful, ignorant, uninformed comments from people was astonishing. I would have hoped by now we would be better educated. Especially here in IN, but they did ban the Ryan White book

#Booksky #Bannedbooks I bought this for my son ages ago, but he’s never read it. He did enjoy the movie though. Enjoyed it very much. The dystopian aspects kept me interested, as well as Corporations taking over and AI. The 80’s references made it funny for this old lady.

Something very simple. If you oppose marriage for all adults (please let’s stop saying gay marriage, it’s marriage), even if they happen to be of the same sex… that’s a you problem. It doesn’t matter if it’s “against your religion”. Religion has no place in the laws of this country #MarriageEquality

#BookSky Just finished reading. Very interesting. Side note, the author, very much, wants you to know that he believes King Arthur was a real person. Although not a banned book, it is worth mentioning the banning, discouraging, and criminalizing of all things Celtic several times in history.

ICE admits that up to 50% of arrests in its Chicago raids are "collateral.” These aren't statistics. They are parents taken from their children, neighbors taken from our communities. When does a "collateral" U.S. citizen child's trauma matter? This isn't law enforcement; it's a campaign of terror.
