I've got it.
I'll 3D print about 12 or 16 inch tall footings - itty bitty brick-clad cubes - to mount the main floor to a 'foundation pad' of half-inch MDF. Leave a couple mm space between the ground and the skirting boards. That'll fix the upturn in the flooring.
