Quite often when we look at a russian shill, we discover something like that in their past. Scott Ritter is the most obvious example, but far from the only one. And yeah, I'd wager this is also part of why Trump and a lot of MAGA are pro-russia.

When "homeless working adults with minor-aged children" becomes a distinct administrative category—not an anomaly, but a recognized population requiring its own eligibility framework—you know something is very, very broken in our society.

This from the noted psychological journal, "Duh."
Headline from PsyPost:

"Trump supporters report higher levels of psychopathy, manipulativeness, callousness, and narcissism"

First three paragraphs of the story:

"A new psychological study has found that people who report favorable views of Donald Trump also tend to score higher on measures of callousness, manipulation, and other malevolent traits—and lower on empathy and compassion. The findings, based on two large surveys of U.S. adults, shed light on how personality traits relate to political beliefs, including support for Trump and conservative ideology. The research was recently published in the Journal of Research in Personality.

"Malevolent personality traits—sometimes called “dark” traits—include tendencies such as manipulativeness, callousness, narcissism, and a lack of empathy. These traits are often captured by concepts like psychopathy, Machiavellianism, and narcissism, which together reflect a general disposition toward exploiting or disregarding others for personal gain.

"People with stronger malevolent traits may be more comfortable with aggression, dominance, or cruelty and less likely to value fairness or kindness. These tendencies are associated with lower levels of affective empathy (concern for others’ suffering) and, in some cases, higher levels of dissonant empathy (enjoyment of others’ pain). In contrast, benevolent traits reflect the opposite—a disposition marked by compassion, humanism, and a belief in treating others with dignity and respect."

I've studied so many concentration camps through history that held vulnerable people in just this kind of crowded squalor. You demonize people, you demand more arrests, this is what you get. It already has its own budget and its own momentum, and is on track to go much further, unless we stop it.

The US gov is insolvent and that’s not an opinion. The Treasury’s own FY25 report shows the US has ~$6T in assets vs ~$48T in liabilities, a ~$42T gap. That’s about $2T worse than FY24 under Biden and it doesn’t even include Social Security or Medicare. Are we winning yet?
Most people cannot relate to trillion-dollar figures on a government ledger. So consider this: divide every number by 100 million — drop eight zeros — and federal finances look like a household budget in freefall.
That household earns $52,446 and spends $73,378 - running a $20,932 annual deficit. Its total liabilities and unfunded promises amount to $1,361,788 against just $60,554 in assets, leaving it $1.3 million in the hole. Uncle Sam, by any accounting standard, is insolvent.
Congress has clearly lost control of the nation's finances. America is facing a fiscal catastrophe. The reckoning, long deferred, is becoming impossible to ignore.

When you hear them target any vulnerable community—immigrants, trans people, refugees—ask first why they're trying to distract and divide us. Don't fall for it.
Screenshot of an X post by HasanAbi commenting on how to discuss trans issues with median voters. The post quotes Marco Foster, who says the anti-trans campaign in Maine is funded by an out-of-state billionaire to distract from tax discussions and notes that very few trans kids compete in high school sports there. Below is a podcast-style video still of a man speaking into a microphone.
