There is a boatload of orders to complete in the game, and unlocking the branching paths to get to stage 100 is a challenge in itself. I love this game to bits - it is so wacky and fun.

RS34 builds on this element of overwhelming *excess* and applies it to other aspects of its games (particularly the Switch games) - the mach 2000+ speed of Radirgy Swag, the wild colours of Illvelo Swamp, the overlapping and conflicting goals of Radirgy 2, and the vocal cacophony of Happy Together

RS34's games are rooted in the "caravan" formula - enemies come in formations, and you get more enemies (and points) if you defeat each formation fast. Caravan shmups have more stuff than what you can destroy in one run, so you have to filter out the less lucrative options to avoid being overwhelmed

yeah "New Order" was the subtitle for the PS2 port of Chaos Field so the hint has been hiding in plain sight for a while The "field change" command isn't an in-game mechanic here but rather a way to switch between the OG BOR stages and new bonus stages in the menu (and prob serves the story too)
