A lot has to be understood, which involves getting the hang of XML files. Each hiccup makes me want to punch my screen. Luckily, everyone and everything is safe. Thanks to the community members 'viking' and 'faeran', who created the original theme for Launchbox; my inspiration.

I started building a retro console a year ago. After playing on multiple operating systems, I've chosen Linux-based Batocera as my go-to OS. Then I thought, how about I make a theme for the OS?! So, here we go. The first screen for NES. By the end of the year, I plan to finalise this theme.

A work in progress, the artwork shows the system screen for the NES console, to be part of a theme I am creating for Batocera; an operating system for playing retro video games.

DRM can be cracked easily so I don't see why it should be pushed aggressively. Not to mention some DRM systems eat up resources like there's no tomorrow.

Miss those times when clicking exe files would instantly open up the game, unlike Ubisoft Connect or Battlenet that would take forever to fire up the game.

South Koreans who went to sleep before 10.30pm will have slept through the president declaring martial law to overthrow democracy, a military siege around the National Assembly, lawmakers scaling walls to bypass barricades, a vote to overturn it & the president vowing to imminently end martial law.

The Ruby Weapon cover, hit it for the first time and really thought it was Jeff singing. I collect bootlegs and lives and it's strange there is no studio recording of All Flowers in Time. I have some untagged Buckley music, hoping to find it there, now that you have mentioned it.

What connects these four songs? Elizabeth Fraser? Also, Jeff Buckley and Elizabeth Fraser coming together for All Flowers in Time Bend Towards the Sun is incredibly beautiful. The song has many Sketches for My Sweetheart the Drunk vibes.

Released in 1994, today is the 30th anniversary of Pearl Jam’s Vitalogy. With Bugs, Nothingman demo, and Better Man guitar and organ only version, the band recorded many of the songs during soundchecks on their Vs. tours. Much of it is poetry, the kind that never lightens up.
