Just tried to watch a YouTube gaming video but the Gen-Z making it kept calling it a "Gameboy Advanced". Advanced. Not advance. Advanced. It's not as if it isn't written on the front of the actual fecking machine or anything.

It's September and I've yet to get on a train that hasn't been delayed or cancelled this year. Just got turfed off a Carlisle train at Newcastle. No explanation, just "this train is terminating here"... Along with any hopes of making my connection mate. Thanks.

Ok. It is exactly like you imagine. Some very sharply dressed humans with little joy on their faces listening to speeches that thank everyone but the staff serving them food and drink. The entire place has the energy of cocaine.

So many comics these days are just poorly structured essays with characters doing reaction poses like TikTok videos. Real lack of craft and form. Remember. You can actually learn, for free, how to get good at this stuff.

The pursuit of realism and versimilitude in video games has cost us all in terms of money and enjoyment. The fundamental misunderstanding of what makes things fun.

Very frightened people. People disagreeing with them scares them. People looking different scares them. Places they don't control scares them. Leaving their home scares them. Online scares them. Maybe they are the ones that need help? www.thetelegraphandargus.co.uk/news/2657247...

The thing with hipster pop-up shops: They always start by telling everyone they are being a service to the community. They always end by demanding that the community chips in to help pay for them when it doesn't pan out.

Over a decade of telling people "anyone can be an artist" and pushing community arts where we flatter attendees into believing they are, we are now left in a situation where they are turning around to practising artists and saying "we can take it from here". And this is what you get.

So far all these so called AI hacking incidents have occurred because humans have instructef the AIs to hack sites using specific methodology in closed box environments and then, somehow "accidentally" connected them to the internet. These aren't geniuses. They are script kiddies.

All this prevarication of whether or not AI could gain sentience whilst we casually slaughter millions of animals a day that quite clearly display it, suggests, maybe, we are, as a species, huffing our own farts a little too hard.

The removal of humans. The de-hunanizing of every service. From call centres to checkouts, to teachers and doctors. Yet the thing AI can't replace is talking to another human. A process so fundamental to our existence. Won't stop them trying though.

And despite years of being anti-burqa and anti-masking during COVID, it's amazing how quickly these men slap some on for a chance to 'clava up and go sort things out. It's almost as if they have no actual morals, just a set of reactionary paradigms. Either that or they are just massive throbbers.
