I need to make soup. Q: Do I grate my bushel of organic carrots, or roast the butternut squash that 100% need to LEAVE MY FRIDGE? Because, I am quite tired of looking at them. [Plus, I purchased parsnips today. Sns…😬]

Gang. We need to stop with the AI tools and take a breath. Research shows they flag up autistic people's writing as AI, for starters. I just ran my 2019 matchbook story The Diamond Factory through this popular one and it said it was 73% AI. This was published 3 years before the release of Chat GPT.
AI detector result showing my own story, written and published several years before the invention of generative AI, as 73% AI.

I’ve realized that, while I do not cotton to reality tv, I stan two shows: The Real World (Season One) and The Amazing Race… I (foolishly) thought my sister would go on the show with me. But! She couldn’t be persuaded to leave her family for a month or, (ostensibly) a million dollars…🤔🤨 [Umm, Wut?]

INSTEAD OF DEPRESSION

try calling it hibernation.
Imagine the darkness is a cave
in which you will be nurtured
by doing absolutely nothing.
Hibernating animals don't even dream.
It's okay if you can't imagine
spring. Sleep through the alarm
of the world. Name your hopelessness
a quiet hollow, a place you go
to heal, a den you dug,
Sweetheart, instead
of a grave.

Since 2003, an anonymous "grammar vigilante" in Bristol has been correcting misplaced apostrophes on shop signs and street signs at night. He uses a long-handled tool called the "apostrophiser" to reach high signs and fix errors like "Amy's Nail's" and "Cambridge Motor's".
