I’m a lawyer who’s worked with unhoused clients; acquiring a govt ID is by far, the most common task/obstacle unhoused clients face, usually at the outset. So of course, ICE is raiding homeless shelters. They hit the Women’s’ Shelter across the street from our bldg, yesterday. Cruelty is the point.
