I like how fast klipy.com is approving gifs these days. Anything you upload to the that site can then be found in the gif keyboard of Bluesky. Search "NBAsky" to see all the ones I have uploaded.

The interview series Inbox Wisdom by @mitchnobis.bsky.social is also on hold for the moment, but we added @chiaradilello.bsky.social's spring '26 interview to NAWP's website. It was in limbo at the local arts org. Yeah, you got that right, NAWP will jailbreak a poet's interview! Here you go:

Inbox Wisdom: Email Interviews on Creativity with Chiara Di Lello
Email gets a bad rap. Well, actually, it might be largely deserved, but that’s not the fault of email itself. Everyone loves the ding of a good email showing up. A unique part of being a writer is …

This is important. All from 9-13 are all edible with some degree of enjoyment, but 10 is the supreme banana here. (8 & 14 are also edible but with no enjoyment whatsoever.)

This occupies its own genre. There are some surreal/weird fiction elements, but they’re all grounded around blue collar characters just trying to survive. Great stuff, bud.

NAWP isn't dead, but NAWP is staying asleep for now with no monthly readings on the horizon. We'll try to keep posting here from time to time, though. Love you crazy kids. NAWP!
The usual cartoon of the NAWP ostrich mascot, The NAWPstrich. He's saying:
A NAWP Announcement
(A NAWPnouncement?)

NAWP will remain on hiatus for the foreseeable future. We hope to host our annual open mic in March still, but our founders don’t have time this fall to plan & host monthly readings. We hope to resurface eventually. This is, for better or worse, super NAWPy. Keep writing, keep supporting each other, and keep shouting NAWP!

Much love,

Jared & Mitch

And this came together quickly and late, which means the store won't have time to order a pile of our books. We'll have author copies for sale but please buy other books from Book Suey as a thank you. I got @kevinmaloney.net's The Red-Headed Pilgrim last time I was part of a reading there!

If you are excited to let an LLM do your job for you, you have an existential problem not a workplace efficiency issue. The way you fill your days (probably just to get $ & health insurance) does not fill your soul and may even deplete it. Resist the computer and look inward, my friend.

The desire for A"I" in the workplace is merely revealing the same thing that work from home did in 2020. Very few managerial—or even office jobs in the first place—even need to exist.

To be clear, while I am no big fan of spreadsheets and my entire job revolves around using one every day, you should do your own damn spreadsheet work. Ain't no I in AI, so if it can effectively do your work, that just means your work never needed to happen in the first place.
