so sad to say i'm one of the devs affected by this and am leaving at the end of the month i've had an absolutely incredible time at ko_op helping ship our 3 most recent games over the 4 years i've been here. i love all my coworkers and hope that things improve and we get to work together again soon

Still need to tidy it up a bit, but our narrative team requested an NPC idle they described as "staring blankly at the ceiling." I interpreted it as "overworked NPC dissociates on the couch until the player bothers them enough."

I'm gonna thread some of my Young Suns animations. --- Noticed a quest to serve chili to some NPCs lacked an animation for eating, so I whipped this up in ~3-ish hours today. Needed to be quick because making players wait longer than 5 seconds to progress dialogue is very rude.

Young Suns is at Gamescom and I thought it'd be neat to show off some of the stuff I've been working on. One of the earliest animations I did was this little rummaging loop. As this was my first gamedev job, I didn't realize how complicated putting something like this in game would actually be.
