Beautiful, poignant news here. One of my dear friends has written and recorded two songs. One is in memory of her great uncle who died in #WW1 aged just 19. They will be released on 13 October, the anniversary of his death. £1 from every sale goes to the Poppy Appeal. #FamilyHistory #MakingMusic

Here is possible one idea for your consideration. You could create a diagram similar to this? This was something that I did in Microsoft PowerPoint. You could attach it to the respective correct and incorrect people, etc.

I use a spreadsheet for my #GRO certificates. Front page = orders so date, order number, what I ordered. Then I have a tab for each surname. These list people by family w BMD refs. I colour code Yellow = on order, green = got, red = not found, blue = only available as hard copy.

This was my first venture back to studying for over 30 years. Was I apprehensive about whether I knew enough about #FamilyHistory to keep up? Yes. Was I concerned whether I could fit it around a full-time job and family life? Yes. Did I find it fascinating, stimulating and rewarding? Absolutely! 🏆

I'm incredibly proud that I'm releasing the first tranche of research into 19th century inquests today. Our website now features the names of over 500 individuals who died in questionable circumstances over 39 years, many of them children and women, in Newcastle.

The man's skeletal injuries looked like a train hit him, but he died in 1304 CE.
