Wild that Daybreak came out 5 years ago and Falcom has already released 4 more Trails games since then (2 new entries and 2 remakes). @seamoosi.bsky.social mentioned this on the latest Blood God podcast, but Tales of Arise came out the same year and a new Tales RPG has not even been announced yet.

Commission from Acachia (VGen link below) of Kasia S. Schwarzer-Arseid, daughter of Rean Schwarzer and Laura S Arseid, in her Thos Uniform and Traveling Outfit. Based off of Ashen Legacy, a SpaceBattles Forums Quest. #trails_fa #kiseki

Kasia S. Schwarzer-Arseid, OC daughter of Rean Schwarzer and Laura S Arseid from the Trails of Cold Steel games. Kasia has the same long, sapphire blue hair as her mother, but her eyes and face is more like Rean's. Kasia is standing with her two weapons, a greatsword at her back and a katana in her left hand. She's in the same pose wearing two outfits, one is the Thors Branch Campus uniform and the other is a Travel Outfit, which is based off of the turtleneck Ada Wong wears in the Resident Evil 4 Remake and the bomber jacket Karin Sauer wears in Fear and Hunger 2. There is a third pose; a bust up of Kasia holding her greatsword.

You're a developer for a new SRW game. You pick which new series gets the main plot points. What series are you picking and what pairings will you do? Battletech because doing an SRW version of the Clan invasion would be really, really funny. It’d fit right in with all the other wackiness, I think.

If you see this, post a vampire that isn't dracula

Screenshot from the Vampire the Masqurade: Bloodlines video game. Featuring a yellow taxi with a cab driver inside on a dark city street. The cab driver is Caine (of Caine & Abel fame), the original Vampire in World of Darkness lore.

When you have a problem, blow it up. Then you have smaller, more manageable charred problem chunks to deal with instead.

The Last Champion of Hercynia. [Exomorph Egregorian for Pass the Torch] #Commission #Lancer #TTRPG #Egregorian

$The image depicts a colossal mutated Egregorian from the Lancer TTRPG. This Egregorian is an Exomorph -- morphs created to withstand the chaotic space battles against humanities ships in an ancient war. This particular Exomorph survived and plays an important role in Pass the Torch. The Exomorph is a crustacean and Insectoid creature of gigantic size with two sets of forelimbs, one that resembles a mantis with coconut-crab like appendages and scythes, and one that resembles a crabs thick claws. The center of the mass is bigger than the rest, mutated into a castle-like formation that protects the rest of the body behind it like armor. On its back are 4 dragonfly-like wings with a colourful sheen that contrast with the rest of the creature. On its shell are also a large rifle and grenade launcher that have had part of the shell grow over them. The creature also has an elongated neck with ruff fur of some sort protecting it. at the end of the neck is the monstrous head of the being with two sets of bifurcated jaws, large thick tusks and a protrusion of bone and shell for ramming into battleships. The creatures eyes are impossible to see and the very few slots onto which they would fit are vacant and hollow. The Exomorph has a long lobster-like tail with multiple small sets of legs for grabbing onto ships, thought 3 sets of longer, thinner legs with metal spikes at their ends resemble those of the Egregorians. The Egregorian shows various battle scars, pieces of old ships stuck to it and a strange unnatural fraying at its edges -- turning into fractal patterns as the creature seems to be almost fading away from reality. They also carry rocket-thrusters palced onto their back and various metal spike spines over and under their body The Exomorphs wings are blue and pink with some yellow highlights and its body is a dark and unsaturated mix of green$

Honestly though, do you ever come up with a game title that’s so neat that the title alone inspires a whole game? Like you just came up with a title so cool that your brain goes, “well obviously we gotta make a TTRPG outta that”?

Bisexual flag color-picked from that one scene where Quattro gets his ass handed to him by Kamille in Zeta Gundam

The bisexual flag with colors picked from the aforementioned scene.

Quattro dramatically flying backwards after having been punched by Kamille in Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam. The background's colors are a flashy mix of pinkish reds, purples, and blues.

Another shot from the same scene of Quattro flying backwards from the punch.

Icewind Dale. Sits at an intersection of a lot, not just gaming. Barely knew English as a kid, but damn if I wasn't determined to hack-and-slash my way through. Second town had a tomb with a bunch of ghosts. It absolute hell, but so damn satisfying to burst through after being stuck for forever.

I'd love to like Super Robot Wars, should be right up my ally, but damn does everything about the gameplay suck. Oh, have 20 units you need to tediously move into a long evenly spread out line of enemies. And here's the mid battle reinforcements of another evenly spread of line of 30 enemies.

This is one of my favorite things. In the final dungeon, the chest messages change to notes from the translators talking about how much this game means to them, and encouragements to see it through to the end. Hits me right in the heart and reminds me why we do this work. Machines could never.

After the United Nation's GN-X, the Vagans have one of my favorite generic enemy mobile suits, the ovv-f Gafran. They looks and feel so alien in design when they first appear. It really makes you buy into the mystery of the Unknown Enemy.

Yeah, Zeheart is gay. Talks about wanting to have children with the person he loves then it immediately cuts to a bunch of Asemu-filled flashbacks.

Also redesigned the Gith for my setting. Never liked their base look very much, so I made em a bit more Yautja-ish. With some sentient armor made from bugs on their planet.

Three sketches of an alien elf, with piercings and long black hair. He has black eyes and 4 pincers surrounding his mouth that open when he yells. His armor is segmented and glossy, appearing to open up and close the pieces independently.

If a transphobic policy is passed then that harms trans people. Plus everyone else caught in the middle. In contrast, if a trans positive policy passes no is harmed. Not even the transphobes. Even simply not passing transphobic policies harms no one. The easy choice is to harm no one.

Loved the ending of The Odyssey. Seeing Odysseus board the ship at the White Harbour and sail west into the sunset, then onwards to Valinor brought a tear to my eye. He was tainted by his wounds and could no longer remain in Middle Earth.
