why are there 800 brands of jelly bras that all look the exact same?

Amy Simoneau @midliferefit.bsky.social · 09/10/2026

I used a dog walker once. At the meet and greet she wore a tank top revealing a large shoulder tattoo of a cross flag. Christian nationalist. A fucking tattoo! I felt queasy over hiring her and never did it again. Now I want to dox her when the algorithm shows me her profile. Fuck.

Is this real? (looked it up, it is) Imagine going to your work in Parliament and seeing this thing.

On this day 12 and a half years ago I saw the coolest ever iceberg. Never seen one like it since. Fellsfjara, Jökulsárlón, #Iceland

A six-foot (ish) high turquoise iceberg with a small friend on a black sand beach. Grey rainy day with some of the turquoise reflected in the blank sand, and long exposure smooth waves breaking.

I remember back in 1992 at a Take Back the Night march in college, I asked a friend I passed if he wanted to join us. He said "No, I don't need to worry about walking at night." Thanks a lot fuckhead. Same as it ever was.

I probably didn't see it til 1990 or so, definitely squarely in the 'everyone quotes every line verbatim' phase of the game, so I found it hard to enjoy. I finally watched it again around 2018 at a summer outdoor showing when I thought, OK, it's ok. 🤓 Serious chip on shoulder for 30 years.

I thought it was supposed to be red in the night sailor's delight?! It's thoroughly pink out rn. #noreaster #sailorlife

A super pink-purple‐blue sunset sky. I looked outside and the world was pink-hued.

The bobcat we ran into on the trail yesterday appeared to wear a #golden collar, as a spot of dappled sunlight hits its neck. #BlueSkyArtShow #mammals #nature #photography #ECK

#abundance zero dollars were exchanged for this. sweat equity and neighborliness #eatlocal #eatfresh #growyourownfood

A table full of fruits: watermelon (chopped in a tupperware), cherry tomatoes, apples, pears, and a big ole honkin' slicer tomato. Oh, and also a small jar of dry beans.

Dang, the people can unite on something. Dolly is working her magic bringing people together. 💕💕 The first half mast flag I saw, I thought: Naww, can it be? #theworldlovesdolly

Longtime partners often die in relative succession. After 59 years with her husband, it makes a certain amount of sense Dolly would skip on from this world the year after him. Still sad though, we need Dolly way more than she needs us. RIP Dolly Parton, the world needs more good ones.

The same Pizza Hut I went to as a special fun thing after church some Sundays as a kid continues to be a full service restaurant. Maybe I gotta go a again, y'know for nostalgia reasons. Even though the building lost it's classic roof shape.
