I would remind people that Stevie Wonder is 76 years old. You don’t need a political analysis to understand why his tour isn‘t coming to a 100 citiies. He is a 76 year old Black man who doesn’t have to do but two things, and touring isn’t one of them. Let’s just be grateful.

Holy shit, this Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals Judge found "AI" bullshit in briefs filed by the lawyers in this case and was having utterly and completely None Of It. Fucking *Love* to see it.
JOHN K. BUSH, Circuit Judge. These consolidated appeals concern several lawsuits filed over an incident at the annual fireworks show hosted by the City of Athens, Tennessee, in 2022, and the subsequent fallout. By separate opinion issued this date, we affirm the district court in all respects.

This opinion addresses the misconduct of Glenn Whiting’s lawyers, Van Irion and Russ Egli, in their briefing before this court and the sanctions we impose for it. That briefing repeatedly misrepresented the record, cited non-existent cases, and cited cases for propositions of law that they did not even discuss, much less support. As explained below, Irion’s and Egli’s misconduct warrants the sanctions laid out in Section II.C.

Statement of the Molelia Family from Kibosho/Tanzania with specific demands to Germany for reparative justice concerning colonial crimes 👇 @ecchr.bsky.social @hrwdeutschland.bsky.social @hrw.org @michmo.bsky.social @tnflorvil.bsky.social
Call for Return and Reparations: Descendants of Mangi Molelia Demand Justice
Family of Mangi Molelia Urges Germany to Return Remains, Assume Responsibility for Repatriation, and Provide Reparations for Colonial Crimes
Introduction
The descendants of Mangi Molelia express profound gratitude to all organisations and individuals who made their recent journey possible, enabling the family to honour their great-great-grandfather. Special thanks are extended to Mr Konradin Kunze, Mzee Mboro, and all who contributed to this important occasion.
Historical Context
Mangi Molelia was executed by German colonial officers 126 years ago. His remains, together with associated belongings, were taken to Germany. For generations, his family and the Kibosho Kingdom have endured the trauma and injustice of this act.
Demands
The family of Mangi Molelia hereby issues the following demands:
0 Immediate Return of Remains and Belongings
Germany must openly work with our government to ensure the swift repatriation of Mangi Molelia's remains and all associated belongings.
0 Full Responsibility for Repatriation
Germany must bear the costs and logistical responsibilities of the repatriation process, enabling a dignified burial in the Kibosho Kingdom in accordance with cultural and spiritual traditions.
• Reparations for Colonial Crimes
Reparations must be provided for the brutal execution, as well as for the lasting damage and trauma inflicted upon the famity and the Kibosho Kingdom for more than a century.
Call to Action
We call upon German institutions holding the remains and belongings, as well as the German Government, to acknowledge their responsibility and take immediate, concrete steps towards reitution and reparations.
Furthermore, we demand close collaboration between the German Goverment and our Government to ensure a smooth and respectful process of restitution and reparation.
Closing Statement
This is not merely a matter of justice. It is a necessary step towards healing, recognitio…
