Prompt loops are Agile-on-repeat. Agile is a flawed methodology. It's the only trick they know Agile is and always has been GUESSING They aren't engineers. They are hacks. The same "devs" who gave us infinite shitty code the past 30 years are now certain they can UNFUCK it? I'm skeptical.

We should either hold LLM vendors liable for the hacking they're doing, or we should hold liable the businesses who have shite software that can be hacked. The cult of Agile needs to die a quick death.

A historic stone courtyard with arched walkways, detailed columns, and a garden area. The scene includes pathways, green foliage, and a wooden door leading into a stone building.
A vibrant, eclectic room featuring a large, vintage tank labeled "Smashed Plastic" mounted on the wall. Below it, there are colorful vinyl records displayed. The space includes a wooden bar with turntables and a cozy seating area with red tufted benches and mismatched chairs.

A million monkeys at a million terminals will eventually produce something useful, like math, physics or chemistry. An LLM cannot reliably repeat its "proofs". Why? It doesn't know, reason or think. They don't "dream" anything. FFS.

The contortions AI "researchers" use to restate LLMs are unreliable is glorious. It's such a self own, but they don't realize it. It's like claiming "super intelligence!" when your LLM defeats a poorly implemented sand box. The key take away: you suck at sandboxes. AI doesn't "scheme".

The media's complicit in "LLMs have agency" narrative. What OpenAI and Anthropic "did" was "not doing security". They FAILED to create a sandbox and control their software. THAT is the story: incompetence. Yet, the media spins incompetence into "wow! cool awesomeness".

Anthropic, OpenAI, and everybody else can freely experiment with hacking tools. What they can't do is fail to sandbox them properly (air gap is 100% effective!), the tool goes beyond their parameters, and it hacks other systems. That's no different from a worm. The AI's "intent" is not relevant. 2/2

One of the "features" of LLMs and AI is obfuscate decision making and transfer accountability to the models. People want to defer to "computers don't make mistakes" posture and it's like, "No. That's not how this works."
