Given the history of low quality software over the decades, I wouldn't count on AI software (it >>>IS<<< software) to suddenly become better in quality. I mean, they already have god-coding capabilities, right? 😵‍💫🤮🫣 mashable.com/tech/meta-mu...

Prompt loops are Agile-on-repeat. Agile is a flawed methodology. It's the only trick they know Agile is and always has been GUESSING They aren't engineers. They are hacks. The same "devs" who gave us infinite shitty code the past 30 years are now certain they can UNFUCK it? I'm skeptical.

The condescending thrashing of people who shares your perspective on AI, only bc they do not have the same "identity" as you (whatever that means), is not productive. Hope your day goes better.

I listed to the episode. I didn't walk away with the impression Cal or Becker were failing to recognize or promote the work of you and others. My take away was the media writ large is not amplifying the perspectives critical of AI, including you, Gebru, etc.. I believe this is true.

We should either hold LLM vendors liable for the hacking they're doing, or we should hold liable the businesses who have shite software that can be hacked. The cult of Agile needs to die a quick death.

The image shows the interior of the Auditorium Theatre in Chicago, featuring ornate architecture and a large, illuminated ceiling. Rows of empty seats face a stage with a closed, gold-colored curtain. The theater's design includes intricate decorative patterns and warm lighting.
A historic stone courtyard with arched walkways, detailed columns, and a garden area. The scene includes pathways, green foliage, and a wooden door leading into a stone building.
A vibrant, eclectic room featuring a large, vintage tank labeled "Smashed Plastic" mounted on the wall. Below it, there are colorful vinyl records displayed. The space includes a wooden bar with turntables and a cozy seating area with red tufted benches and mismatched chairs.

UBI is a ruse meant to keep fueling income inequality. Once the rich have managed to transfer wealth to themselves, UBI becomes necessary - who else who can they pillage? UBI does nothing for the underlying challenge of having meaningful work at sustainable wages.

Ugh. I could see 💯 that happening. It wouldn't necessarily be a summery either. There are data licensing companies that structure unstructured data via 'post-processing'. An LLM vendors could post-process (using their own LLM) to create structured data for targeted end markets. 🤮
