It kills me that there is not a studio recording of Joy Division performing Ceremony. All of the existing live ones have some sort of issue with their recordings. I like it so much more than the New Order version, which I also like!

A really weird thing about being in school 15 years after graduating college is how different I am as a student. Tests (even open book and no time limit since it's online) give me lots of anxiety when they didn't before but papers? Don't mind them at all and now I love to do research

In one of my classes last year we had to briefly summarize each reference we cited, probably to make sure it wasn't a hallucinated reference, but since it's grad school for library science, a program for sickos, I'm assuming AI use is lower here anyway even with it being entirely online

Creating a collection development policy for a library for school but it needs to be a fictional town so I'm using the one from Lost Records: Bloom and Rage because that's still set in Michigan! I'm only 30 minutes into the game so far, don't tell me if the town explodes!

I know. I felt that way about other folks talking about it. It's hard to recommend because it's very stupid, but I think is a very good recreation of a certain type of early 00s freeware game and recreates the energy of those without the really problematic bits

I started teaching myself piano earlier this year and I have never felt the sentiment below more. I can't even beat myself up about not starting earlier because I don't think I would have appreciated it as much. I'll probably never be good at it but I don't care because it's been so much fun for me
