Man I have so much great news I'm not allowed to talk about. Multiple short story acceptances. Multiple book contracts. Unrevealed cover art. Someone's gonna have to chisel a hole in my skull to vent the pressure. I'm fucking dying over here

I can't believe Darryl Hall put up with this shit for all those years
A tweet from Joyce Carol Oates that reads as follows: "This is why AI-generated romance novena maje perfect sense. Formulaic fiction doesn't need to be written by hand, so to speak ; what difference does it make if a machine 'writes' it? There are machine-made clothes & there are custom-made clothes. They appeal to different consumers."

Please tell your children it's cool and smart to go into the trades. I would gladly pay double for a competent plumber instead of having to hire a second plumber to fix my first plumber's obscene fuckups. They will be pulling up to your family's holiday get-togethers in Lamborghinis

I had an extraordinarily difficult time in high school for a dozen reasons, but this guy was the only teacher I ever had who truly gave a shit. He's the reason I started writing, and I was already planning to ask if I could dedicate my forthcoming collection to him. The timing here is truly insane

I graduated 27 years ago. Yesterday my English teacher from high school emailed out of the blue to offer his detailed reviews of my books, and said how proud he was of me. I don't really know how to describe it, but it's like a Band-Aid was slapped on a portion of my heart I didn't know was bleeding

We get it, finding horror books that will creep you out is hard. But we’re willing to bet one of our books will have you second-guessing turning your light off. The following books are just a sampling of what Dead Sky Publishing has to offer.

These are the ugliest goddamned running kicks I've ever ordered (you know me so you know this is quite a statement), but friggin hell are they comfortable. They look like corrective shoes you'd slap on a sick kid in a space hospital, but I feel like I just slid my feet into two bags of marshmallows

As a broke teen in the 90s I'd figured out if you hold a Sprite upside down at the right angle, you'd spot a winning cap. I'd walk into a gas station with a dollar and the guy at the register thought I was a mini David Blaine as I cracked seven of them and brought them outside for my thirsty friends

UPDATE: I'm now on episode 245 of Naruto Shippuden. My eyeballs are bleeding. I've eaten three dozen instant ramens. The theme music haunts me at night and refuses to let me sleep. If I witness one more lesson about teamwork I'm going to shut my own head in my own car door until I decapitate myself
