@dance895radio.bsky.social absolute banger of a Drive at 5 today! GREAT show!

I quite often use the idiom "If you squint a bit it looks like xyz". What's the equivalent for something that sounds similar? Mostly because, if you squint a bit, this sounds like the Beatles open.spotify.com/track/6dRAwu... Maybe there are phrases in other languages? I bet German has one!?

It's been a long journey making this but I'm nearly there! Just some more detailing to do and rework a couple of windows to keep the motif on all the edges. Really happy with the landscaping! #LEGO #AFOL #legocastle #LEGOCOMMUNITY

I know it's breaking the color scheme, but maybe making the black brick under the disc white instead would look a bit glowy?

I didn't know what to make of that Hogwarts flag. The builders must be aware, right? There was some good irony with all the lgbtq flag hearts displayed right next to a HW shield as well 😔

It frustrates me that they find a place for HP castles and all their own 3-in-1 castles, but can't get their own space IP in alongside SW. I want to say "What is it about SW that sucks the air out of that space? " but it's too many unintentional puns.

And done! OMG it only just fits on my shelf, had to swap the tallest flag down to a lower turret 😂 Looks great with the rest of the village. Definitely lived up to all the hype about this set.

What was the first video game that scared you? It doesn't have to be a horror game. Maybe you didn't even play it -- plenty of ads freaked me out as a kid.

Ok I thought the hinged wall but was the best mechanism in this set, then I thought it was the drawbridge, but I think this squishy ratchet is my favorite now! Nearly done!

Lego ratchet mechanism for a portcullis. It has a squishy rubber piece that keeps a lever in place against a gear until you lift it.
