I know ACL is in town and it's gonna be rainy and gloomy, but just a heads up that TexLUG will be at Austin Beerworks Springdale tomorrow. I'll have my big Austin FC MOC, other LUG members will have their MOCs, and we'll have play brick to build with. Come grab a beer and say hi!

Man, I really want Texas to go blue (or at least purple) but I'll be really happy when this flood of texts stops. I wish there was a way to respond to some voting master list to say "I'm gonna vote, I'm gonna vote this way, you can stop trying to sway me."

More Tremortusk LEGO design time. It's coming together okay, but as usual I'm doubting myself. I don't want to start completely over, but I'm getting frustrated with the process. Maybe a breakthrough will happen. www.youtube.com/watch?v=WGf4...

Any other MOC designers get frustrated when you design or build something and the first thing people as is if there are any instructions? I know it's a flattering take, but my goal isn't generally to have other people build whatever I just spent time building. It's just to show. IDK.

Starting up in a few minutes. If you like LEGO and HZD/HFW stuff you should so. Totally. Come.

While listening to a boring work call I cut up some scrap sticker sheets and added some details to my Lego Enterprise shuttle craft. It's the pin that releases the saucer section. I didn't like it as just 2 tiny white bricks now it has a little color.

Finally finished this. The figures are kitbashed from whatever Studio had in its database. I know I don't have the discipline to design new torsos or 3D print new parts for minifigures. So it is what it is. Horizon Zero Dawn ish LEGO Advent Calendar. Yes Aloy and Varl are wearing Xmas sweaters.

Quick MOC for our LUG's monthly build challenge. We got seed parts that were car pieces, and the theme was "back to school" so I built a sunken rusted out car and schools of fish.

Part 73 in what will be a long running series of microfighters I feel LEGO should be doing, I give you the Ealge 5 from Spaceballs. LEGO will never do any Spaceballs. Ever. Even with the new movie coming out. If they do I'll eat a minifig head.

I'm still playing, but man it's a repetitive slog. The story beats are sparingly sprinkled in between hour long missions. I just don't think I'm built for strategy games. Chat with your team, go broke upgrading, miss out on operations with lack of intel, go on missions, repeat.
