An Antidote for Strychnine, a tribute illustration to one of my favourite @themountaingoats.bsky.social songs.
Poster style color illustration, composed of several panels displaying different images based on the song: lab rats, chemicals, fish bones... Green and blue tones predominate, but the band's name and the song title are written in yellow.

How many times must we say this? AI* software does not “go rogue” any more than your printer “got religion” when it stopped working Sunday. Software does not have intent or agency. People do. And this feels like some people might be exposed to liability. www.nytimes.com/2026/09/29/t...
Months before OpenAI’s artificial intelligence went rogue, two employees raised an alarm with top executives. They were ignored.

In emails, the employees said they worried that OpenAI’s newest artificial intelligence models were not being appropriately monitored during testing to gauge the technology’s sophistication and to secure the models, according to messages viewed by The New York Times.

3 panel comic titled “Logging into Bluesky”

Panel 1:
A Pink Guy bursts into Bluesky wearing a t-shirt that says “Fun”. His little face looks so happy.

Panel 2:
Six Bluesky users turn to look at the Pink Guy. They all look dour and angry because they have been overdosing on the discourse. Having the current state of the world mainlined into their veins for 22 hours a day has left them real grumpy.

Panel 3:
Pink Guy slowly removes his t-shirt and quietly says “sorry”. He won’t soon forget that Bluesky is the home of Serious Discussion. If he wants “Fun” maybe he should log into the Barney the Dinosaur forums.
