I was not expecting You Can See Everything to be almost or completely sold out everywhere. I have a ticket for this weekend, but it was a lot of work.

Angled shot of 6 small prints featuring multi-colored tiny homes designed with metal type to resemble popular Chicago home styles.

Actually not AI. Those are dessert tacos made of sweet fillings made to look like savory taco fillings. The tragedy here is that AI has robbed us of our appreciation of whimsical tasty fakes.

Farewell today to the high priestess of polka dots, Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama (1929-2026). Her work was unforgettable and for her, a means to survival. It’s playful, psychedelic, compulsive, beautiful and slightly unsettling all at once. Into infinity and beyond Yayoi! 🔴🟡⚫️

The real "administrative bloat" in education is the money that schools are being forced to fork over to tech vendors that can just keep jacking up their prices year after year, because it would cost even more to rebuild the systems and retrain the people that were built/trained on that tech.

My secret, Cap, is that I'm *always* angry about old books. For instance, here's a tiny slice of the millions of books 1931-1986 that have no commercial value, that are digitized, but that we're unable to use in large-scale research because they are illegal to share or display.
