Be careful what you wish for. The US military has traditionally been very Republican-leaning, as a group. The rank and file have largely voted Republican, and veterans voted for Trump by a 60-40 margin in 2024. (And they knew what he did on Jan 6, so I’m not sure how well the oath holds up!)
