Was going to reply that like many others, the HRT misinfo soured my feelings on and eroded my trust in SciShow. While I'm pleased to see a retraction of that video, it feels a little weird that it took this long and only happened the day before pushing for donations.

I find it so frustrating - I read much quicker than I can watch a video and I can also read stuff while listening to music! i hate the shift to video only. Also as someone who works in a school, the amount of kids who will refuse to read something is genuinely quite worrying, no matter how short

the "esc" key on a keyboard is a holdover from early-'90s personal computers. on some models it would dispense a can of escargot out of one of the unused drive bays. they put it in the corner so you wouldn't press it by accident because you only got three of them. i pushed it once and got grounded
