Just from reading through a limited playthrough, I can tell this is a quality #solorpg product. It's got a yes/no oracle that isn't binary, a morale system for enemies, tables galore, and a mission generator that follows the story beat structure from the CRB. 10/10 highly recommend!

I read posts like this on social media from trans people who were visibly gender non-conforming pre-transition - or visibly intersex people as well - and got jealous/sad that I wasn't born intersex, or didn't express my gender identity more continuously during my childhood. /1

One thing I hate so much about the argument that trans people rigidity insist on a gender identity that everyone has to agree to against their will is how much it erases trans people whose gender nonconformity already caused them a lot of problems before transition. Problems that transition HELPS.

I often struggle with grave dancing. Charlie Kirk did awful things, and he died for them. And as a Buddhist, I'm sad for both the awful things he did and the fact he died without realizing how awful they really were. So I can't feel joy about this, even though part of me wants to.

IMO this is where we see a big overlap between trans men and sapphic trans women in that they're all generally more culturally erased and pushed into closets, more vulnerable to compulsory cisness, more gaslit into believing they can't even exist.

UPDATE: I spoke with the nun I mentioned in this thread and she was extremely supportive, and I'm very grateful for her insight! She has some other people she thinks will be able to give me some perspective. Support for Western Monastics is really lacking, so it's good to talk to the few there are.

Hmm it's something I'm coming to see a bit more clearly, both in my own life and on a broader level, but I think there's essentially this dynamic where we have few incentives to live or even mask as men and we tend to be aggressively socially feminized anyway
