I am in Cap Haitien interviewing people deported from the United States. I have been doing this kind of work for almost a decade and it literally does not get more dire than this. People have lost everything they built in the U.S. and are terrified and have no place to go or way to live.

It's stunning how gross some people are and how this does not keep them from society and power. The level of mustache twirling would not be credible in fiction.

Tags can be bulk applied and removed, making them better than favorite for bulk box management. The examples I gave are simplified from what I actually use multiple times a day to instantly make box space. There are certainly other ways to do it.

What you suggested would be a recurring annoyance for the many times you want to transfer a 3* Pokemon. Search strings can be saved and given nicknames, making managing your box with bulk tags and transfers the work of seconds after just a little setup work. People are trying to help you.

Searches and tags are powerful for tasks like this. You can search something like "age0&count0-5,3*,4*" to find mons u caught today w high IV or that you have fewer than 6 of, review, tag the ones you like with "keep." Then something like "0*,1*,2*&age0&!#keep" to find ones you want to transfer.

From my ICE Air FAQ:
What can I do?
Demand the administrators of airports in your state set up public livestreams for ICE flights and cancel contracts with ICE Air partners. Support Rep. Jasmine Crockett's TRACK ICE Act, which would require ICE to release flight data and publicly report uses of force on ICE flights. Make sure your retirement fund isn't invested in ICE charter airlines; if it is, pressure the fund managers to divest. Spread the word about conditions on ICE flights. Donate to nonprofits and funds that help migrants in detention. Tell the FAA and your lawmakers that shackling on ICE flights should stop immediately. Protest outside companies that partner with ICE Air, and demand their investors divest (that means you, Bill Gates).
Observe ICE flight transfers at your local airport and document what you see - you can contact. in DC on Bluesky for public-observation points and flight forecasts. If you are an airline worker, tell your union to demand the FAA enforce federal aviation regulations on ICE flights. Help pilots and flight attendants for ICE Air charter airlines find new jobs. And if you work for one of these companies, you can send me information anonymously on Signal at gbrockell.44, or via encrypted email at brockell at proton dot me.
Name and shame! What companies are working with ICE Air?
The airlines currently flying for ICE Air are:
Global X Air, Eastern Airlines/Eastern Air
Express, Key Lime Air/Denver Air Connection, Omni Air International, Air Wisconsin, Journey Aviation, and Talon Air.
Avelo Airlines stopped flying for ICE on Feb. 8. Air Transport Service/Gryphon operated ICE flights in 2025, likely including at least one third-country removal to Rwanda, but appears to have stopped in fall 2025.
Bighorn Airways also briefly flew ICE flights but appears to have stopped. Can my blue-state airport refuse ICE flights clearance to land?
Unfortunately, no. In 2019, local officials in Washington state attempted to stop ICE flights landing at Seattle's Boeing Field via county executive order. The Department of Justice challenged the order, with a judge ruling in 2023 that public-use airports cannot refuse aircraft operated by or on behalf of the federal government.
In response, county officials now require all ICE flights at Boeing Field to load and unload on a public livestream, which has provided invaluable information to immigration attorneys and activists, and hopefully prevents some abuse by ICE agents and guards. (Though not all of it, see below video.)

When Trump launched “the largest deportation operation in the history of our country” without ICE facilities to accommodate it, inhumane overcrowding was inevitable. Judge Kaplan’s 9/24 ruling shows the results. Diagrams simulating a NYC holding cell in Aug 2025 look like slave ships. 1/5

The whole speech is good, but this part in particular is particularly relevant now. www.trumanlibrary.gov/library/publ...
A screenshot of a section of the linked speech by former President Harry Truman:

I've seen it happen time after time. When the Democratic candidate allows himself to be put on the defensive and starts apologizing for the New Deal and the fair Deal, and says he really doesn't believe in them, he is sure to lose. The people don't want a phony Democrat. If it's a choice between a genuine Republican, and a Republican in Democratic clothing, the people will choose the genuine article, every time; that is, they will take a Republican before they will a phony Democrat, and I don't want any phony Democratic candidates in this campaign.

But when a Democratic candidate goes out and explains what the New Deal and fair Deal really are--when he stands up like a man and puts the issues before the people--then Democrats can win, even in places where they have never won before. It has been proven time and again.
We are getting a lot of suggestions to the effect that we ought to water down our platform and abandon parts of our program. These, my friends, are Trojan horse suggestions. I have been in politics for over 30 years, and I know what I am talking about, and I believe I know something about the business. One thing I am sure of: never, never throw away a winning program.
This is so elementary that I suspect the people handing out this advice are not really well-wishers of the Democratic Party.

Electing a Republican is more likely to move a district farther right than to produce a future better Democrat imo. Before not voting I'd do a lot of stop volunteering, donating, and write/call them about my dissatisfaction. But there are surely things a Dem could do to lose my vote.

If conceding the issue prevented getting attacked on it those meager pluralities (2%, really?) might mean something. Or if this were an important issue for voters. It's got emotional weight, but it's got nothing to do with the price of diesel. This gets seen as a weak waffle, even if it wasn't.

As if helping care for family members is highly reimbursed work. Would be surprised if these programs don't save the govt money, but they are surely more human than putting all our grandparents and disabled kids in institutions to achieve some economy of scale.

ICE owes millions in unpaid bills to hospitals and, in some cases, detainees themselves have been directly billed for care, records show.

Sigh. Taps sign. Again. You DO NOT want legislative term limits. They're bad. We know they're bad. We know this with as much certainty as it's possible to know anything in the social sciences. We have mountains of evidence from the 17 states that have tried it. No good comes from term limits.
