Loyalty is always a one way street. Employers of any stripe expect everything from you, but the moment they can save a few bucks or think they can get marginally better results you’re gone. It’s a consensual business relationship and either party has a right to end it. Fuck off, Stephen.

My ancestor (Mennonite) came into a ship in Philly before the revolutionary war. I don't say that because they were no more American than my neighbor from Vietnam. People who say heritage American fly the Confederate flag and traitors aren't American

Williams, 37, then unleashed her response to the DHS’ statement in an Instagram Story post Monday: “And may I suggest all Nazi bitches suck on my fat d***.”

A DHS representative did not immediately return The Independent’s request for comment.

The idea is to have it so that a memory is recalled and found useful a certain number of times before it shifts to a "rule"

Menno @menno.bsky.social · 06/10/2026
The belief tier memories (so stuff saved by inferred value) is generally manual outside of what's extracted in the handoff. I'm working to see if I can have Classifier models augment this but classified (auto added) memories will by default be flagged as such.

Yes, it will have a "source" section and then also a "type" tier. as well as a confidence rating. Stuff that comes directly from the human users (myself) aka "remember this [...]" will have tags that flag it as something that I made vs inferred

And the NYT is so proud of its both-sidesing the article is leading the website. Readers are offended, as well they should be. Most recommended comment:

The headline refers to "exaggerated portrayals of one candidate as a con artist and the other as a drunk"; the article then spends a lot of time detailing a single incident, which has been widely exaggerated beyond all proportion and recognization, and finally turns to Ramaswamy's career exploits, which are by no measure being exaggerated beyond defensible arguments as to their social impact. Why couldn't this article be accurately headlined: In Ugly Fight For Ohio Governor, Exaggeration of Single Personal Incident Is Pitted Against a Plutocrat's Career and Its Consequences. Concerned readers are eager to know.

Call me a Woke Shitlib, but I think that the president saying that some of the most populous cities in America can be destroyed as acceptable losses in war is something that should be wall to wall coverage until he's out of office.

I was at my grandparents and watching TV. I was into Scifi even back then. My grandparents were asleep and Evolver came on
Cover for the movie Evolver. On the cover is a 90's era robot with targets on its chest as well as a gun. There are two people in the lower corner (a man and a woman) and the man has what looks like crosshairs over his one eye. The tagline for the movie is "It was supposed to be a game"

Way to focus on the real issue. Country is committing a genocide but the real problem is that someone used the wrong kind of search to provide a quick summary in the thread saying that genocide is bad.

And how does shaming a random person on bluesky get us any closer to a world where we actually invest in public transportation? Do you really think that someone on bluesky is the person holding back investment or voting for the people holding back investment?

Menno @menno.bsky.social · 04/10/2026
Like, what are you trying to accomplish here? You're not even trying to educate anyone. You're trying to shame them. As a stranger. On the Internet. They're not car advocate influencers (to my knowledge) so what's your ideal end state of your disappointment? Is that the best use of your time?

Do you think that they don't already support the taxes and candidates that would make transit affordable? Do you think that them being happy at their purchases is singlehandedly responsible for the legacy of Robert Moses and you can overcome it with the power of social media brow beating?

What are you trying to accomplish here? Do you really think that you convincing two random strangers that they should move to a city with public transportation is gonna make that transportation more accessible for people who can't afford to move?

Eric, I use public transportation literally every time I go to work. I support public transportation and am a pretty big advocate for grey urbanism. You getting angry at someone saying their car gives them freedom when you *know nothing else about them* does nothing but paint you as an asshole.

You (and I) are posting on social Media, a technology that's basically one of the worst things to come out of the web 2.0 era. Yet me trying to convince you not to use it is pointless right? About as useful as individually convincing drivers to find the few cities with valid transit.

Hi! I'm the fun police. Even I think you're awol. I use public transportation for 100% of my commute. But getting mad at people for enjoying the thing they use everyday as a proxy because yelling at the government that would give them options is hard is a waste of everyone's time and does nothing.

There is no advice that can survive bad management unless the advice is "leave". That being said, if you're doing Things On Your Own for the first time you should do it tactfully, carefully, and make sure nobody wonders if you did it instead of your assigned work.

Memories will expire over time and there's a method (that I am working on) for it to surface more useful memories more often. It kinda works now but it's very manual. BUT! the system is pretty good at forgetting old instructions. Durable truths you should likely still have in agents.md.
110
Menno @menno.bsky.social · 02/10/2026
Memory is project scoped by default, meaning you telling an agent that every commit message needs to have a pun in your fun repo won't (at least without some weird changes) make it to a professional repo. You can set global rules though. You can also "pin" memories so they load every time.
110
Menno @menno.bsky.social · 02/10/2026
The system also has a "Turn tier" mode that's more like traditional memory so if you want it to process whole conversations, you use this. But I keep it on "belief" because this means the system only saves stuff basically if I explicitly tell it, or at handoff.
110
Menno @menno.bsky.social · 02/10/2026
The prime function pulls in the handoff and a token constrained max limit of other things (beliefs, facts, and anti-patterns) It follows progressive disclosure by default, saving more tokens. From this, you can just.. keep working
120
Menno @menno.bsky.social · 02/10/2026
The core loop of weft is at the end of a session, you write a /handoff which allows your agent to write what it did, what's next, and anything important ("beliefs" or "facts") Then, when you go into that project again, even if it's a different harness, hit /prime and go
220
Menno @menno.bsky.social · 02/10/2026
TLDR: - Weft is a postgres server running in a docker container on your computer that connects via MCP to your harness of choice (try @polytoken.dev its great!) -Memories are stored as vector embeddings, meaning Agents can search for them by context, not just keywords

It did a dependency check before it went out. That's why it took so long, because it was checking what was being modified in each chain. Part of my task system explicitly checks for this before it validates any action.

Case and point. GLM seems to have a case of "Anti-Stoppies" I asked it what we should tackle first it reviewed the tasks and said "Why not all of it? They don't conflict"
My Prompt:
you are an orchestrator again. let's tackle the hardening tasks you highlighted using @model:codex/gpt-6-luna(max) as a subagent. For your RC remain hold Do you want to get decisions from me so you can keep working first? or should we do the hardening for starup and Baseline failures first?
The Response:
Both, in parallel — that's the move here. The startup hardening and the decision-free slice of the baseline failures need nothing from you, so I'll dispatch those workers now; the three decisions that gate the rest (pilot contract, isolated substrate, RC-1 scope) I'll collect from you at the same time so nothing waits on me.

I've been fighting with Sol going into finding new problems every time I tried to finalize some development for weeks. It stops, tells me it found something, and then wants me to confirm it's ok to fix it. GLM just... does it, and doesn't make stuff up.
