Senator Hasegawa had been an incredible leader on public banking and we should finally do it so we can build the infrastructure we need. A public bank at the very least frees us to do the work needed without having to pay the vig to the capital class.

We will never know until after the fact but if this is the public statement and they have accountability and support in house that is a reasonable way to handle this. But if this is the actual way they're going about it it is unlikely to end well for the team or the player.

Never forget that when Seoul, Korea removed the Cheonggyecheon expressway in 2003 and replaced it with a restored stream, 1000 acre park and improved public transit, not only did it TRANSFORM the city’s public life and economic success, but the car traffic got better. The car traffic got BETTER.

I agree with all that and even one more overpass would make huge difference. A platform over train platform leading to multiple crosswalk would be amazing. If you narrow and divert POV over to 5th and make 4th between Jackson and Royal Brougham transit corridor. I think that would be amazing!

We weren't offered more transit. We were offered parking garage and they were going to pull it. There was no time to coordinate demands for more. They had the hatchet and were chopping. Should we give up the thing offered for some hypothetical other thing?

That wasn't offered. We are getting 3 BRT stops and a freeway expansion. CM Rivera and CM Perez are fighting for something. CM Prince got the appointment to the ST Board and doesn't fight for any transit. As with all things this is broad failure with plenty of blame. But not for Rivera or Perez.

Not Southeast King County. Renton, Kent, Marysville, Auburn, Puyallup have all been cut out at every turn. Starting with one line being diverted from Renton for cost. Also Renton is in the east side portion of fund but we want to fight for everyone down here.
