Thankfully, the size is too big for most jars! That wasn't an actual consideration while picking the size for the Konqi plushie, but it coincidentally just worked out like that. Yes, I have some idea of what you're talking about but they'll never be acknowledged officially. :P

All in time. :) (if the Konqi plushie gets 300 pre-orders at minimum)

We were waiting until early pre-orders started coming in or the full link was posted somewhere in public, before starting the final announcement preparations. Otherwise, the announcement would've happened around 24 hours after the teaser was posted.

It's been a fun couple of months working with @kde.org to make the Konqi plushie real, up to making the teaser and announcement videos! I'll make a blog post about the journey of the Konqi plushie, sometime after the campaign ends.

If you want an even smaller (and cheaper) lil' FM booper, you could also get an M-VAVE FM-1. I got mine last week and been exploring the wonderful world of DX7 patches since! That being said, the Volca FM2 is prolly much easier to play due to having bigger keys. 😅

there is no such thing as "age verification." All "age verification" is actually "identity verification." You can coat it in glitter and "privacy-preserving" wrapping paper. But in the end, mandating age verification means mandating surveillance be built into software and hardware. Period.

oh so it was intentional. i take back any good faith hope. WOW.
I want to briefly address the discussion as a GOG representative. The Sowilo rune is part of my cultural and historical heritage. As a Pole, I am fully aware of both its history and the sensitivities surrounding it. Its use in this promotion was intended solely as a reference to the sun, which is central to the game being promoted.

What was displayed in several devices as doppelrune is out of our control. ᛋ was displayed as ϟ on several devices (might display for you differently here as well just letting you know). We should pay more attention to checking it on a different systems and devices. I also recognize that placing two such runes next to each other could create an unfortunate association with symbols used by the Nazi regime. This was noticed before distribution, and out of respect for local sensitivities, the material was not sent to the German community.

At the same time, I do not believe that symbols with a history spanning more than a thousand years should be defined solely by their misuse in the modern history. Allowing that would mean accepting that those who corrupted these symbols now own their meaning.

As a Pole, I have every reason to treat this history with seriousness and respect. Precisely because of that, I reject any suggestion that this promotion carried an extremist message. It did not. It was a reference to the historical symbol of the sun, nothing more.

Supper Mario Broth @mariobrothblog.bsky.social · 25/02/2026
According to internal files and interviews, Luigi has been part of Super Mario 64 for 85% of its development time. New insights from development data allow us to narrow down when exactly he was abandoned, being the two weeks between February 6, 1996 and February 20, 1996.
The Two Weeks When Luigi Died
Last timestamp of a file (gfxmain.c) that has Luigi's code active as part of the program: February 6, 1996
Earliest timestamp of a file (shade.c) that has Luigi's code commented out, signifying he is no longer being developed: February 20, 1996
This means that the idea of including Luigi in Super Mario 64 was abandoned in these two weeks.
-By the way, what happened to Luigi?
Miyamoto: Well... until February, he was in the game. (laughs)
This is also completely consistent with a statement by Shigeru Miyamoto in a June 1996 interview.

Fluxer Static and Fluxer Usercontent are shown in Healthy states having all green indicator lines.

Heads up, Fluxer has a BIG red flag: It requires you to sign a CLA to contribute code, which means it could become closed-source!

I was the original person who asked the @fluxer.app main dev about the AGPL + CLA licensing and these were the responses from them:
@w8l: My best-faith assumption is that Hampus thought it was necessary for monetisation.

Hampus: it's necessary to be able to provide a commercial license for internal use only at companies who cannot use copyleft licenses due to legal requirementsHampus: it's necessary to be able to provide a commercial license for internal use only at companies who cannot use copyleft licenses due to legal requirements

Hampus [continued]: I'm being very clear about this in the upcoming refactor and that I've chosen the most contributor-friendly CLA possible that preserves all your rights, gives a guarantee that if your patch is distributed in Fluxer that it will remain distributed under the AGPLv3, in addition to any commercial licence that Fluxer may provide — and I'm also going to be very clear about the fact that companies who may receive such a commercial licence must use it for internal use only and they cannot redistribute the software under any licenceHampus [continued]: choosing a CLA is not me misunderstanding anything here, it's the only option I have if I want to retain the ability to provide a for-internal-use-only version of Fluxer to companies who cannot use copyleft licenses for some reason and are willing to pay for it, which only benefits the continued FOSS development of Fluxer and does not strip contributors of any of their rights
